Alice Glass

This 6th extra track was discovered by London UK's Merok Records who went on to release the track as the band's first vinyl single, "Alice Practice", despite Glass not knowing the track existed or what it sounded like, and named for the fact Glass was just doing soundchecks prior to starting her intended recording session.

Mr Crowley Live EP

The track list included "Mr. Crowley", "Suicide Solution" and "You Said It All", a song which was written in the sound-check for that show and, according to several sources, was actually recorded in the soundcheck with crowd-noise subsequently added.

My Legendary Girlfriend

There is a 7" vinyl limited edition of 500 copies version of the single released in 1992 on Bob Stanley's label Caff Records. The new A-side "My Legendary Girlfriend" was taken from 11 September 1991 live BBC soundcheck. "Sickly Grin" and "Back in L.A." are 1982 and 1984 demos accordingly.

Native American Composers Apprenticeship Project

In 2007 New York's WNYC aired a feature about the project on its program Soundcheck, narrated by Ralph Farris of the string quartet ETHEL.

Paperlate

The title came from a line in the 1973 Genesis song "Dancing with the Moonlit Knight" ("Paper late, cried a voice in the crowd"), which Genesis rehearsed at a soundcheck, leading to the conception of the song.

Later that day he sang the unfinished song to the band at their pre-concert soundcheck at Wembley Arena.

Throwing It All Away

A music video for the song was composed of soundcheck footage and shots of the band traveling whilst on their Invisible Touch tour of North America, much of which was filmed by Phil Collins on his 1985 Sony Handycam.
