In 2010 after the 2010 FIBA World Championship and after graduating from college Ali became pro and he signed with Lebanese powerhorses Riyadi in the Lebanese Basketball League due to A list Ali was loaned to Antranik SC in exchange of Charbel El Sokn.
His international experience includes playing for Adecco Milano in Italy (1999-00), Bnei HaSharon in Israel (2006–07; 2010–present), Lokomotiv Novosibirsk in Russia (2007–08), Al-Riyadi in Lebanon, Leones de Ponce (2009) and Piratas de Quebradillas in Puerto Rico (2010).
1.86 m (6 feet 1 inch) shooting guard, he signed with Sporting Al Riyadi Beirut of the Lebanese Basketball League and has competed with the team for the last five seasons, helping the team become one of the strongest Lebanese sides.
