In August 2006 Ross portrayed Gabriella Montez in Disney Theatrical Productions' and Music Theater International's first granted license of the musical stage production "High School Musical" at Stagedoor Manor in Loch Sheldrake, New York.
She attended the Stagedoor Manor Performing Arts Training Center, a summer theatre/dance camp in the Catskill Mountains in New York, from 1990 through 1996, and then graduated from the prestigious Idyllwild Arts Academy in California.
