Eleanor died in childbirth with her son Wolfgang on 20 November 1480 and was buried in Stams.
He stayed several times at the Stams Abbey at Stams, Tyrol, where he may have had connections, and served as music teacher at the Jesuit school in Munich, for several brief periods of time.
Also outstanding are a life-sized statue of Mary (and "Immaculata") for a convent in Stams and two angels for the parish church in Nauders.
Following his retirement from competition, he now works as a physiotherapist in Stams.
