In the hardcover book included in some versions of Hey! Ho! Let's Go: The Anthology, Tommy Ramone says, "Something like Carbona Not Glue has to be tongue-in-cheek. It's absurd, like saying that you should try something more poisonous."
It was covered by Fat Mattress in 1971 for their unfinished third album (eventually seeing release on The Black Sheep of the Family: The Anthology) and by Mountain in 1972 for their album Mountain Live: The Road Goes Ever On.
It features commentary by his children Joshua and Jennifer, as well as his widow Sandy in between some performances.
Lenny White - conga, bongos, drums, percussion, marimba (CD 1 on tracks 7-9, CD 2)
