In addition, Montague has created multi-channel electroacoustic sound environments in collaboration with the sculptor, Maurice Agis, and composed a number of music theatre works for outside spaces such as his Horn Concerto for klaxon horn and an orchestra of automobiles.

She subsequently recorded Nyman's work 'On The Fiddle', written for her in 1993, as part of her album In Sunlight: Pieces for Madeleine Mitchell NMC D098 of music written for her by Brian Elias, Stuart Jones, James MacMillan, Stephen Montague, Nigel Osborne, Anthony Powers, and John Woolrich with pianist Andrew Ball in 2005.
It also enjoys collaboration and has worked with a variety of other artforms, artists and organisations including poet Ian McMillan, actors Samuel and Timothy West, composers Huw Watkins and Stephen Montague, choreographer Anna Olejnicki and Museums Sheffield.
