David Rendel

His father was a foreign correspondent for The Times, and he is a great-grandson of civil engineer Sir Alexander Meadows Rendel, and a great-great-nephew of Liberal MP Stuart Rendel.

East Clandon

From 1768 the Sumner family owned the Hatchlands estate until it went to auction in 1888 and was bought by Lord Rendel.

Edward Marten Dunne

In 1899 he married Grace Daphne Rendel, daughter of Lord Rendel, former Liberal MP for Montgomeryshire.

Harry Stuart Goodhart-Rendel
