The single "Suavemente" was a huge hit and eventually helped him earn the Best Male Tropical/Salsa Album of the Year from Billboard magazine.
The album does not contain the songs that Myriam performed as a duet: "Believe" with Wendolee; "Suavemente" with Nadia; and "A Dios le Pido" with Victor.
