Alison Clarke-Stewart (born Summerland, British Columbia, Canada in 1943) is a developmental psychologist and expert on children’s social development (1, 2).

Most notably, Weiss has written several episodes for both Gilmore Girls and Everwood, although other writing credits include episodes for Inconceivable, Journeyman, Sabrina, the Teenage Witch, Grace Under Fire, Summerland and the 1992 Fractured Film Awards.
She made her acting debut in the teen series Summerland as the character Carrie, and played Vanessa in the Nickelodeon series Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide in 2005–2006.
