Juan Alberto Rosas (born November 28, 1984 in Tepic, Nayarit, Mexico) is a Mexican professional boxer and the former IBF Super Flyweight champion.
Rivas turned professional in 1995 and captured the WBO super flyweight title with a decision win over Diego Morales in 1999.
After another win in 8 rounds, on May 29, 2004 she lost against Regina Halmich in a fight for the vacant IWBF Super Flyweight title, in ten rounds by unanimous decision.
The win set him up for another crack at a title, this time against the British Super-Flyweight champion Andy Bell.
On April 3, 2005, Nashiro fought Japanese Super flyweight champion Seiji Tanaka.
A year later he fought for the TWBA Super Flyweight Title in Torredembarra, but was beaten by Algeria-born Lahcene Zemmouri from Spain.
The winner was to face then IBF super flyweight titlist Dimitri Kirilov of Russia who would later be dethroned by Darchinyan on August 2, 2008.
