Hence Sea Containers decided, despite their earlier decision, to continue operating SuperSeaCat Three and Four under the SuperSeaCat brand.

Under that name she sailed on Sea Container's services around the British Isles, as well as with their subsidiaries Silja Line and SuperSeaCat on the Baltic Sea.
Because of this the SuperSeaCats were branched off from Silja to form a separate company, SuperSeaCat.

The MDV1200 class fast ferry (sometimes known as SuperSeaCat after brand some of them operated under) are a series of high-speed craft built by Fincantieri in Genoa for Ocean Bridge Investments and Sea Containers Ltd between 1996 and 1999.
It was revealed in 2008 that Sea Containers Ltd had sold the SuperSeaCat Three and Four to Aegean Speed Lines, who operate the two ships on their usual Helsinki-Tallinn route.
