William Henry Suttor (1805–1877), an Australian pastoralist and politician.
Acacia argyrodendron is found in central Queensland in the basins of the Cape, Suttor and Belyando Rivers on clay soils in areas where the annual rainfall ranges between 475 and 655 mm (19-26 in).
Suttor died on 4 April 1915 at his Darling Point residence, survived by three sons and five daughters.
Suttor was born in Chelsea, London, England, the third son of a Scottish market gardener (and botanist on the estate of Charles Cadogan, 2nd Baron Cadogan) and his wife, née Thomas.
