Lausanne railway station

Passenger trains are primarily run by SBB CFF FFS, the Swiss national rail company, with additional international trains run by companies from neighbouring France (TGV), Germany (ICE) and Italy (Cisalpino), with services to Barcelona provided by Elipsos (a joint venture by Spanish RENFE and French SNCF).

Mendrisio railway station

The station is on the Swiss Federal Railways Gotthard railway, between Lugano and Chiasso, and is also the junction for the Mendrisio–Stabio railway, currently only used for freight traffic, but being rebuilt as an international connection to Varese.

Palézieux

Palézieux-Village station is on the Swiss Federal Railways' Broye valley line which then connects with their Olten-Lausanne mainline, at a junction just to the north of Palézieux-Gare.
