The engine continued in regular service until 1956 when 1352 was retired and donated to Swope Park in Kansas City, Missouri, for display.
The two stations share studio facilities located on Winchester Avenue (along I-435) in the Swope Park Ridge-Winchester section of Kansas City, Missouri, KCWE's transmitter is located at the intersection of East 23rd Street and Topping Avenue in the city's Blue Valley section.
This logo was utilized prominently during the 1960s and was affixed to the club’s Swope Park headquarters on 63rd Street before the club moved to Arrowhead Stadium in 1972.
The park is also mentioned in the Kansas City rapper Tech N9ne's song "Riot Maker" featuring Skatterman and Snug Brim from his 2006 album Everready (The Religion), and on the song "In The Trunk" from his 2009 album K.O.D..

After its removal from Swope Park, Smoky Hill Railway and Historical Society kept the 1352 in an industrial park in Riverside, Missouri, where it suffered flooding on at least one occasion.
She married Logan Swope, the nephew of Col. Thomas H. Swope, who was renowned in the area for his gift of Swope Park to Kansas City and his infamous murder.
