Michael Beddow is a British specialist in German literature, who is also a renowned expert in the application of XML technologies to web representations of literary corpora, and who is deeply involved with the work of the Text Encoding Initiative (TEI).
The name comes from the name of the lake in this area: Lacul Tei (Linden Tree Lake).

The project is a collaboration between The Norwegian University of Life Sciences (UMB), the Technological Educational Institute of Ionian Islands (TEI) and the Therianos Villas and Therianos Family Farm on Zakynthos.
Three memorial steles are located within the temple grounds: one to the Chūzan Confucian temple originally established in the 17th century as a gift from the Kangxi Emperor; one to Sai On, historian, government official, reformed, and royal regent at the time the temple was constructed; and one to Tei Junsoku, magistrate of Kumemura and educational force who established the Meirindō as a center of learning.
The song was released as the first promotional single in the spring of 2005 and became one of Tei's most successful songs in Japan reaching the top ten on the Tokio Hot 100 radio chart.
Concurrently, Tei is working as conducting marketing and promotion in Japan for (Kona Brewing Company) of Hawaii.
She puts the princess in the boat, pushes it off, trusting in the elements to deliver the princess to an old loyal courtier exiled to Japan, "Ikkan" or "Tei Shiryū Rōikkan" (鄭芝龍老一官; Zheng Zhilong, also known as Iquan).
