Recovered cities Taicang, Kunshan, Wujiang seriesly, promoted Captain General in May 1863, and Cheng created the first Chinese modern Cannon troop.
In 2003, the government invested in constructing a new highway connecting Suzhou, Kunshan and Taicang.
