Also worthy of note is RTOOT's concert programs which (in addition to the usual greetings from the conductor, programme notes, singalong lyrics, and the history of the orchestra) contain diversions such as coloring book pages (for which Crayon Girls hand out crayons), puzzles, and excerpts from great literature (such as Tale of Two Cities and Huckleberry Finn).
A Tale of Two Cities was in part the inspiration for the American children's book The Cheshire Cheese Cat by Carmen Agra Deedy, Randall Wright and Barry Moser, which is set in the pub.
