This had a 2.3 litre engine and a single-seater racing version of the Spider was driven to victory by Tazio Nuvolari at the Targa Florio race in Sicily in 1931 and 1932.
The album was the most successful of the three written together by Dalla and Roversi, in particular for the song "Nuvolari", about 1930s race driver Tazio Nuvolari.
Only one championship event was held, won in 1939 by Tazio Nuvolari.

The race, held on September 3, 1939, was sponsored by King Peter II of Yugoslavia, generating major interest among the Belgraders as more than 100,000 (quarter of the city's entire population at the time) came out to see the world famous racers such as Tazio Nuvolari and Manfred von Brauchitsch.
It had styling based on that of 1930s sports cars such as the Riley MPH and took its name from racing driver Tazio Nuvolari.
The album, however, included one of Dalla's most popular songs, "Nuvolari", named after the famous 1930s Italian racer.
