August Horch (1868–1951), the father of the German automotive giant Audi, studied at the „Technicum“ from 1888-1891.
After studies at Uman Cooperative Technicum (Уманський кооперативний технікум) he started his career as a journalist in 1934 at Molodyi Bilshovyk (Молодий Бiльшовик) in Vinnytsia.
