To further the objective of strengthening and improving management education, the school undertakes development of case material in areas such as Financial Management, Business Planning, Marketing, ERP Implementation, Project Management, Manufacturing and Operations management, Technology Assessment, Technology Management, etc.
He also pursues his full-time study during the same period, obtaining a degree of MSc in Health Technology Assessment (HTA) & Management in 2009 with the medical schools of four different universities: University of Montreal, University of Ottawa, Universitat Internacional de Catalunya (Barcelona) and Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore (Rome).
In September 2013 he wrote an open letter to The Times in which he said companies should be sure that all expenses spent on research were necessary in order justify the high prices demanded for new products assessed by health technology assessment (HTA) bodies such as NICE.
He has testified before Congress and has served as a consultant on energy issues to utilities and other organizations, including the Tennessee Valley Authority, the Lower Colorado River Authority, the Edison Electric Institute, the Lawrence Berkeley Laboratory, the Congressional Office of Technology Assessment, and several agencies of the United Nations.
Pedrizzetti is a member of the European Society of Mechanics (EUROMECH), American Physical Society (APS), European Society of Cardiology – European Association of Echocardiography (ESC-EAE), ERCOFTACT Committee SIG 37 (Biological Fluid Mechanics) and Scientific Committee CIRHTA (Inter-University Consortium in Health Technology Assessment, Pisa, Italy).
He also served as a Trustee of Princeton University from 1981 to 1985, was on the Board of Directors of the Army and Air Force Mutual Aid Association and the Board of Advisors of the National Contract Management Association, and as a member of the National Research Council's Space Technology Assessment Panel and its Committee on Artificial Intelligence and Army Robotics.
