In mid-1993, Samazan released a rap music single under the "pseudonym" B-Man Samazan on the Westside Records label called "One of a Kind", and filmed a music video for the song with Kellie Hoggart from Teen Queens (and later of Hi-5 fame).

They had further hits including "I Can't Help Myself" (#28) and "Love How You Love Me" (#14),

All three formed the group in 1990 with the intention of getting a TV program off the ground about a girl group in 1960s Sydney.
