In Brussels Sophie was a successful artist, receiving many commissions, including several for the former royal palace at Tervuren, lost in the fire that destroyed it.

Prince Charles Alexander of Lorraine (Charles Alexandre Emanuel de Lorraine) (12 December 1712 in Lunéville – 4 July 1780 in Tervuren) was a Lorraine-born Austrian general and soldier, governor and de facto sovereign of the Austrian Netherlands, and sometime duke of Lorraine.
It was first played in 2006, with the host course being alternated between Limburg Golf & Country Club in Houthalen-Helchteren, Royal Waterloo in Lasne, Rinkven Golf Club in Anvers, and Ravenstein Royal GC in Tervuren.
