In 2008, members of The Ting Tings wrote critical comments on their blog about what they believe to be inflated prices charged by the label for their single, That's Not My Name, asserting that the company was "cashing in" on the band's success at the expense of their fans.
During the Pittsburgh Penguins' Stanley Cup run in 2009, Pittsburgh radio station WDVE did a spoof of the song entitled "That Is My Name" about Penguins player Evgeni Malkin, in which a man sounding like Malkin sang about his multiple nicknames.
The first single released from the album was a double A-side single consisting of "That's Not My Name" and "Great DJ".
