Ye College Inn, a Tudor Revival building at the northeast corner of NE 40th Street near the "lower" (south) end of The Ave, is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

It is served by the AVE high speed trains between Madrid and Barcelona and onwards to Figueres.
It has a stop on the AVE high-speed rail line and has begun to grow as a long-distance commuter suburb of Madrid, located 115 miles (185 km) to the north.
