Also in 2010, ISK hosted actress and Grammy Award winning singer Natalie Cole along with director/actress Sonia Nassery Cole for the Afghan release of the film, "The Black Tulip."
The title translates to English as "Star of the Seine" or "The Seine's Stars." It is based on Alain Delon's 1963 movie La Tulipe noire (movie which, in spite of the title, is not based on Alexandre Dumas, père's novel The Black Tulip).
A musical adaptation was written in 2004 by Kit Goldstein, and premiered at Union College in February 2005.
