Ina Anita Carter (March 31, 1933 – July 29, 1999), the youngest daughter of Ezra and Mother Maybelle Carter, was a versatile American singer who experimented with several different types of music and played upright bass with her sisters Helen Carter and June Carter Cash as The Carter Sisters.
Keep on the Sunny Side: June Carter Cash – Her Life in Music is a compilation album by June Carter Cash which spans from 1939 with The Carter Sisters and Mother Maybelle on the radio to her 2003 album Wildwood Flower.
In 1973, the act won "Favorite Country Vocal Group" on the American Music Awards, a surprise victory over the more commercially successful The Statler Brothers and The Osborne Brothers.
