This was followed by a successful stint in Country Radio (1972–73), after which he formed one of Australia's most successful country-rock bands, The Dingoes.
In its first few years Mushroom released albums and singles by some of the most significant Australian rock acts of the period, including Madder Lake, MacKenzie Theory, Matt Taylor and The Dingoes.
The Dingoes held a 9-a-side international tournament in early 2007, also featuring teams from Abu Dhabi, Oman and Qatar.
