Morocky began his formal education at Onayena Primary School situated in Onayena, a village in east Ondangwa, where he has been living since returning from exile in Zambia, in 1989.

Morocky signed the first artist to his Mshasho label, Sunny Boy, whom he met while studying at University of Namibia.

The Dogg was chosen to be the first celebrity guest in the Big Brother Africa 4 house.

It features South African kwaito star Brickz on the song "Tromentos" and Zambian singer JK on the song "End of Time", and both songs feature Sunny Boy.

After graduating from high school, Morocky chose to study for a Science degree at the University of Namibia.

Mshasho Productions, also referred to as, Mshasho Music Productions, and, Mshasho Records is an Namibian Independent record label founded by Namibian musician and producer, Martin "The Dogg" Morocky in 2003.
The neighborhood has long been associated with crime and gang activity, and was generally referred to as the "Dogg Pound" - in reference to the Dogg Pound Crips Gang that claims the neighborhood - by local residents until recent efforts by the community and the city government to change the neighborhood's image.
He had the most requested song on the Dr. Demento radio show in 2002, 2003, and 2011 with his songs "Peter Parker" featuring Sudden Death, "Stealing Like a Hobbit", and "Snoopy the Dogg" respectively.
Tre and The Dogg became very good friends and started writing songs together during their years at the University of Namibia.
