In 2009 Jesse Lyell and Dan Evans formed the band Sick Weapons with vocalist Ellie Beziat formerly of Fascist Fascist and Peter O'Connell and Joey Sulkowski formerly of The Death Set, and are based out of Baltimore.

Steve Aoki then found drummer Scott Batiste (Saviours, Yaphet Kotto, The Pattern) who ended up playing two sets per night during the tour, one with each band.

They instead found Matt Smith (later of Strike Anywhere) who was a guitarist, whereby Jedd moved back to playing the drums.
When The Exploder came out Mannhai made a practical joke: The web address www.mattivanhanen.com directed websurfers not to the web pages of then Prime Minister of Finland Matti Vanhanen but to the website of Mannhai.
