In the Seinfeld episode "The Face Painter", Berg's name is given to an attorney friend of Jerry's who gives Jerry some New York Rangers playoff tickets.
The two teams however, played each other in the Eastern Conference Finals the previous year in which the Rangers won and eventually went on to win their first Stanley Cup in 54 years, breaking the Curse of 1940.
