The film's initial negative reception came along long before the actual premiere and was brought about by the revelation of the title, which bore striking similarities to the Polish title of a recent American comedy hit Hangover, released in Poland as Kac Vegas (kac - Polish for hangover).
Henry Lyme, another main character, is a reference to "Henry Lime" from the Orson Wells film "The Third Man" and is visually based on Zach Galifianakis in "The Hangover".
The film was written and directed by Lee Frost, and stars Sondra Currie (who would later be better known to recent audiences for her role in the Golden Globe-winning comedy The Hangover), Tony Young, and Phil Hoover.

The character of drunken Kamal and Radharavi is inspired by the movie "City Lights", where Charlie Chaplin, the tramp, is befriended by the Harry Myers while he is drunk and does not recognize him when he gets out of the hangover.
