On the 26th of December 2013, Nikki Laoye was unveiled as the winner of the category for the Best Vocal Performance (Female) for her soulful ballad 'Only You' in a strong field that included singers Waje, Niyola, Sheyi Shay and Zaina, at The Headies 2013 Award ceremony in Lagos, Nigeria.
YBNL won the "Best Rap Album" and "Album of the Year" awards at the 2013 edition of The Headies.
