Between 1973 and 1977 Walek Dzedzej created a large number of texts, many of which are now lost, but the surviving ones, such as "Na ulicy nowy świat" ("On the New World Street"), "Nie mam nic do powiedzenia" ("I Have Nothing to Say") and "Dom wschodzącego słońca" (his version of "The House of the Rising Sun") have continued to be a part of the repertoire of numerous musical groups performing in Poland during the first decade of the 21st century.

Three others were loosely improvised instrumentals; "Dan" – a version of "Londonderry Air" or "Danny Boy" by Bell in a Jimi Hendrix style; "Rising Sun" – a cover of "The House of the Rising Sun" made popular by The Animals; and the original composition "Palamatoon".

The song "The House of the Rising Sun" on this album came about originally because BTO played at an outdoor concert in Sturgis, South Dakota for a biker event with Eric Burdon of The Animals also on the bill.

It features "Walk Don't Run '64," an updated recording of the Johnny Smith cover; as a single, it would be the second time the band had a Top 10 hit in the U.S. with that same composition. The album also includes a rendition of blues classic "The House of the Rising Sun," and "Rap City," the Ventures' arrangement of Brahms' Hungarian Dance No. 5.
