It was established in 2006 with the purpose of releasing The Indelicates' first single, We Hate The Kids.
In April 2005 founder member Julia left to concentrate on her own project, The Indelicates, and was replaced by former Welsh-language solo artist Gwenno Saunders.

Originally comprising Julia Clarke-Lowes, Rose Elinor Dougall and Rebecca Stephens, at the time of their debut album Clarke-Lowes had been replaced by Gwenno Saunders.
