During the early 1990s Lee Fiedler was the president and CEO of The Kelly Springfield Tire Company, a company that manufactured tires for about two dozen private brand marketers—including giants such as Sears, Wal-Mart, Discount Tire and Big O Tires.
Over the span of his career at Compton, Gossett worked on advertising campaigns for such clients as Black & White, Chase & Sanborn Coffee, El Producto, Ivory, Kelly Tires, Knickerbocker Beer, Procter & Gamble, Socony Mobil Oil Company, and Tender Leaf Tea.
The company continued to grow until 1962 when it added a new plant in Tyler, Texas.
