The school was founded in 1995 by Fiona Hamilton-Fairley, who raised funds to build the purpose-built teaching kitchens in Acton, West London Acton, London.

Jeffrey is mainly known for having organized over 300 concerts in Ottawa, including events for legendary punk bands such as The Kids, The Vibrators, Leatherface, Oi Polloi, The System, Despise You, and The Nils.
"If the Kids Are United" also features on many other compilation and live albums, and it has been covered by many artists and bands such as Wat Tyler, Rancid, 7 Seconds, Oi Polloi, DJ Paul, Angelic Upstarts, Red Alert, Bérurier Noir, Sham Pistols, The Kids, Atari Teenage Riot, The Duke Spirit, Le Bal des Enragés and Pluramon.
Jiroux traveled on two tours with Cyrus in the United States and Europe and has performed on the Kids' Choice Awards, American Music Awards, Good Morning America, & FNMTV (UK).
