In 1983 the Miniature Village served as the filming location for an episode of the Canadian television series The Littlest Hobo, entitled "Small Pleasures" (season 4, episode 16).
In 1982 an episode of The Littlest Hobo, titled "Trooper" was filmed in Hampton, Ontario.
His son Terry was an award winning jingle writer, best known for singing "Maybe Tomorrow", the theme for the The Littlest Hobo.
It also briefly ventured into program syndication as Storer Programs Inc., during which it was the U.S. distributor of the original 1963-65 run of The Littlest Hobo, which was produced in Canada.
