In late 2011 the magazine hit national headlines with its decision to use the stars of The Only Way Is Essex, Jessica Wright, Sam Faiers and Lucy Meck on its Winter 2011 cover.
In recent years, the club have been dubbed 'The Only Way is Brocagh', playing a parody on ITV sitcom The Only Way Is Essex because of their tendency to care about how they look, rather than deal with matters on the field.
There is a version used in a promotional video for the second series of British reality television show The Only Way Is Essex with the lyrics "I'm in Essex Girl".
At the 2011 BAFTA awards, he gained his 3rd BAFTA for The Only Way Is Essex winner in the category 'YouTube Audience Award'.
