The route continues on, passing through the hamlets of Bolton and Bolton Landing, the latter of which is home to The Sagamore, a resort situated on an island in Lake George.

Robert Rheinlander

His career was predominantly from 1900 – 1945 where he designed and rebuilt The Sagamore a grand Victorian hotel on Lake George in 1921–1922 after a fire.

The Sagamore

Twice damaged by fire, in 1893 and 1914, the Sagamore was rebuilt in the early 1920s by local prominent architect Robert Rheinlander.
