Its title sequence was an animated version of Munch's painting The Scream (to the tune of "Another Flavour" by The Sundays), with Newman and Baddiel revealed as the artist's friends in the background, standing near a waterfront theatre in which they were appearing.
Their first album, Reading, Writing, and Arithmetic was released in 1990, along with their next single "Here's Where the Story Ends".
His first post-Ringo band was Homer, consisting of Keegan, Patrick Hannan (of The Sundays)Andy Metcalfe (of the Soft Boys and Robyn Hitchcock and the Egyptians), Jake Kyle and Andrew Claridge.
He subsequently founded the Sundays River Land and Irrigation Company as well as the village of Bayville.
