At the start of 2010, The Thirst were invited to compete in a songwriting competition as representatives of England at the Festival Internacional de la Canción de Viña del Mar, in Viña del Mar, Chile.
According to the Simon & Schuster author page, the Thirst (The Last Vampire) series is slated to be released as a feature film.
