The Hexer is the international title of both a 2001 movie and a 2002 TV series, directed by Marek Brodzki, and Michał Żebrowski starring as Geralt.

Michael Kandel, in his translation of the story "Wiedźmin" (2010) used the word "Spellmaker".

A Polish Book of Monsters, an English anthology edited and translated by Michael Kandel, contains a unique translation of "The Witcher" short story, translated as "Spellmaker".


The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt

The game will be the third in the series, preceded by The Witcher and The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings, loosely based on the series of fantasy novels of the same title by Polish author Andrzej Sapkowski.
