Her elder brother Count József Török de Szendrő (1873–98), following Austrian tradition, was enrolled at the Theresianum, where he befriended Abbas Bey, an Egyptian prince.
In 1754 he was ordained priest and continued teaching, now in Rozsnyó (Rožňava) and in the Theresianum at Vienna, where he was professor of political science, and at the same time tutor to the princesses of Salm.
Haschka was given a position as assistant in the library of the University of Vienna and was made instructor in aesthetics in the newly founded Theresianum.
