Anne Annette Minna Cochrane, DCVO, DStJ (born 1855 – died 6 January 1943), the daughter of Admiral Sir Thomas John Cochrane and his wife, Rosetta (née Wheeler-Cuffe), was a British noblewoman.
He was the son of Admiral of the Fleet Sir Thomas John Cochrane, son of Admiral the Honourable Sir Alexander Cochrane, sixth son of Thomas Cochrane, 8th Earl of Dundonald (see the Earl of Dundonald for earlier history of the Cochrane family).
It was not until May 1832 that the British Secretary of State for the Colonies formally stated that a new commission would be issued to Governor Cochrane to remove any and all Roman Catholic disabilities in Newfoundland.
Sir Robert died in Hanover Lodge, Regent's Park on 6 May 1853, a house in which Admiral of the Fleet Sir Thomas John Cochrane and David Beatty, 1st Earl Beatty, as well as the collector, Matthew Uzielli later lived.

Houx afterwards equipped a brig, which he named Revanche de la Superbe, and sent an invitation to Fitton to meet him at a place named; however, before the message arrived Fitton had been superseded as captain by the 17-year old Thomas John Cochrane, son of admiral Sir Alexander Cochrane, who was then commanding officer of the Leeward Islands station.
