Thomas Le Clear (born in Owego, New York, 17 March 1818; died in Rutherford Park, New Jersey, 26 November 1882) was a painter from the United States.

He went to London, Canada, with his father in 1832, and after painting portraits for a time there, and in Elmira and Rochester, he made his way to New York City in 1839, where he reportedly studied for several years under Henry Inman.
