2 unusual facts about Thomas Trotter


Saint Peter's Singers of Leeds

The choir visited Birmingham Town Hall in March 2010 to perform a programme of 'Sacred Choral Classics' as guests of city organist Thomas Trotter in his Monday Lunchtime Concert Series.

Trotter has also been invited to perform on major historic instruments such as those at St. Ouen in Rouen, St. Bavo’s in Haarlem (Netherlands), Weingarten Abbey in Germany and Woolsey Hall at Yale University and he appears at the festivals of Salzburg, Berlin, Vienna, Edinburgh and London’s BBC Proms.

Several notable organists have given recitals on this instrument, including Carlo Curley, Peter Hurford, Stephen Darlington, Thomas Trotter, and John Scott.
