Shaykh Ahmad At Tijânî Ibn Bâba Al 'Alawî is a Maliki jurist of the city of Chinguit in Mauritania, a theologian Ash'ari and Tijani imam.
It was destroyed by Maba Diakhou, the Tijani jihadist from the Rip, in 1865 and the Mbacké family, including the young Ahmadou Bamba, was forced to join Maba's court in Nioro.
