Astragalus bidentatus

It is found only in Ecuador in two locations in the south above the timberline in the Azuay and Cañar provinces.

Charlie Ryan

Ryan released a remake in 1959 as "Charlie Ryan and The Timberline Riders"; the song was later covered by Johnny Bond (1960) and Commander Cody and His Lost Planet Airmen (1972), among others.

Hood to Coast

The first relay in 1982 drew eight teams that ran from Timberline to Kiwanda Beach near Pacific City, Oregon.
