TBT Hospital Gboko established by TBT Gwabi (Nig.) Limited, is situated along Captain Downes' Road in Gboko, the heartland of the Tiv nation to provide adequate health care system so as to reduce morbidity and mortality among the people of Benue State and its environs.

It also incorporates the Museum of Traditional Nigerian Architecture with life-size replicas of a variety of buildings, from the walls of Kano and the Mosque at Zaria to a Tiv village.
During November 1907 to spring 1908, an expedition of the Southern Nigeria Regiment led by Lieutenant-Colonel Hugh Trenchard's came into contact with the Tiv.
