In July 1890, Shaw heard him play Max Bruch's first concerto and remarked, 'Nachez is one of the most musically intelligent violinists we have, but his technique fails him in rapid and difficult movements.'

he performed his own 2nd Violin Concerto with the London Philharmonic Orchestra on 17 April 1907, and repeated it with the New Symphony Orchestra under Landon Ronald on 27 January 1910.


Hungarian violin school

Böhm's classes gave birth to the following Hungarian violinists: Joachim, Auer, Flesch, Otto Singer, Tivadar Nachez, Hubay; and to violinists of other nationalities as: Hellmesberger, Jacob Dont, Ernst (Romanian), Ferdinand Laub, Franz Kneisel and Karl Klingler.
